THE WALK
Miracle Moon Walk is a spectacular night walk, taking in iconic sites of the city and surrounding areas. The walk aims to raise vital funds to support premature and sick newborns and their families and the work of Miracle Babies Foundation.
It is a fun, casual walk and is suitable for all ages. NO TRAINING REQUIRED! Join us for a memorable and magical night, walking as the sun sets and the stars emerge, all for a great cause.
In celebration of our 20 Year anniversary, in 2025 we will be hosting two events in Sydney and Perth!!
Not in either of these cities? Join our virtual Miracle Moon Walk and take part at your leisure any time throughout September!
SYDNEY
Date: Saturday 6th September
The Sydney Miracle Moon Walk starts and finishes at the main event hub at Cathedral Square, on the forecourt outside St Mary's Cathedral and can be easily accessed by bus, train and car.
The hub opens from 3pm with the Walk starting at 5pm (Registrations close at 4pm).
You can register on the night: Head to the forecourt outside St Mary's Cathedral between 4-5pm and visit the registration tent.
All participants will be provided with a map and clear details of the route. Distance will be confirmed closer to the day however we anticipate it will be approx. 7km, taking between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on how much the laughter and photos slow you down.
PERTH
Date: Saturday 20th September
The Perth Miracle Moon Walk starts and finishes at the main event hub at TBC and can be easily accessed by bus, train and car.
The hub opens from 3pm with the Walk starting at 5pm (Registrations close at 4pm).
You can register on the night: Head to the Event Hub between 3pm - 4pm and visit the registration tent.
All participants will be provided with a map and clear details of the route. Distance will be confirmed closer to the day however we anticipate it will be approx. 7km, taking between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on how much the laughter and photos slow you down.
Registrations are now open - $65 per adult. Kids under 12 free!
Rego includes entry, event bib, map, MMW hat, MMW drawstring backpack,
completion medal, glow sticks, entertainment and other goodies along the way!
Please note: Event shirts will not be provided as part of the registration this year but
if you have done the moon walk in past, we encourage you to wear your Miracle Moon Walk Shirts.
Alternatively, dress in teal and purple or purchase a shirt at the Event Hub prior to the walk.

"We have wanted to participate for quite some time so last year we decided to make it happen as a family. So glad we did. It was fantastic!
The highlight of the evening was finishing the walk and coming in with the band playing. Also enjoying the beautiful views around the harbour.
It was a great event and we will definitely have a team again next year. Hopefully even more friends will join us.
